Hi, I'm Dan. I started flying when I was 11 years old, but I developed an interest in aviation way before that. My parents told me they would invest in flying lessons for me if i made the honor roll, and after I accomplished that, I've been flying ever since. I love instructing because I love changing peoples lives and helping them attain a lifelong goal. Some highlights from my aviation career are that I was in the military for 20 years. Joining the military gave me the chance to learn about a different side of aviation that you wouldn't learn on the civilian side. It allowed me to make an impact on the world as well as our country. Now that I retired from the military, I want to contribute to creating the next generation of aviators and produce the best pilots possible.

I am also heavily involved in the aviation community as Chair of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots and volunteer for many other aviation organizations. Since becoming a flight instructor, I realized teaching was my other passion. When I'm not instructing or flying for fun, I work in hospitality on the beautiful Las Vegas Strip. In my spare time, I like to hang out with close friends and family, go off-roading in the desert, and read mystery novels.

I have an associate degree in Criminal Justice but have always been interested in aviation. Growing up my family traveled quite a bit, always flying, spending a lot of time in airports and we would often attend the air shows at Nellis AFB. As an instructor, I strive to share my passion for aviation and help teach the next generation of aviators.

Hello, I'm John and I got my PPL in 1975. I got my CFI in 1981. I am a part time instructor at ChrisAir. The best part about aviation is watching the learning process unfold. I love the young students who are motivated to continue in this market because it takes a lot of dedication.

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and love meeting new students. Watching students succeed has made my love for flight instructing continue to grow stronger each and every time I hop in the plane with a student. After earning my Gold Seal flight instructor in 2023, I realized that teaching the next generationof pilots is something that I feel extremely passionate about and want to continue doing for the next 3 years I have left in the military.

This passion is why I love aviation, and it is my firm belief that this is the spark that creates the most exceptional aviators. I love being the one to open new horizons and constantly challenge my students to exceed their potential.

I went through my private and instrument training in NY under the busy bravo airspace near JFK, and finished my commercial and CFI training under Dan. This flight school feels like home to me, and I am so grateful to now be a part of helping others dive into this amazing world of aviation.

Now I am one of their CFI-I’s As a flight instructor, I’m deeply committed to helping each student achieve their aviation goals with confidence and clarity. I believe that learning to fly should be as exciting as it is educational, and I strive to create a relaxed, engaging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, and growing every day. With a good dose of humor, a passion for flying, and a genuine desire to see others succeed, I make the journey to becoming a pilot both rewarding and enjoyable. There’s no better place to be than in the sky!

Hello, my name is Luis. I was born in Cuba and came to US in 2005 pursuing the American dream. Started to work in different jobs until I decided to move forward in the auto repair field. I been a mechanic for over 10 years. I always knew I want to keep growing in a career and decided to be a pilot. Teaching is really rewarding. You might not realize it but you are the student’s role model. Even though every person learns at a different pace, I’m completely devoted to making sure each student is learning and understanding and no one is left behind, no matter how long it takes. Teaching doesn’t feel like a job; it’s fun! As a Flight Instructor to see others succeed and be a part of their achievements is priceless.
