About ChrisAir Aviation
Our History
Founded in 2003, ChrisAir Aviation is a Part 61 flight school that flies out of the North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT). Our founder Dan Christman has been flying since he was 11 years old. He has over 35 years of flying experience and has taught over 800 students. He has left a great mark in the flying industry and continues to sculpt the minds of aspiring aviators.

Private Pilot Training
As a private pilot, you can fly with other passengers in any plane in which you are rated.
The FAA Minimum Requirements to get your PPL are as follows:
Be at least 17 years of age (16 to fly solo)
Have at least 40 hours of flight time
Have at least 20 hours of dual instruction time
Fly 10 hours solo
Obtain at least a 3rd-class medical certificate
Pass the FAA Written Test
Pass the FAA Practical Test

An Instrument rated pilot has the qualifications and training to fly in low visibility conditions.
The FAA Minimum Requirements to get your Instrument Rating are as follows:
Have your private pilots license
Have 50 hours of cross country as Pilot in Command
Have 40 hours of simulated or actual instrument flight time
Have 15 hours of Instrument
